Additionally, the book attempts to address faculty's repeated pleas for precise guidelines and support, independent of a specific country or a specific higher education institution. The teaching strategies presented are designed to optimise student learning. This publication should be useful in higher education teacher training and is especially designed to assist newly-appointed faculty to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge by themselves.
Autoren-Porträt von Heinz Bachmann
Heinz Bachmann, Dr. phil., ist Dozent am Zentrum für Hochschuldidaktik und Erwachsenenbildung der PH Zürich und als freier Konsulent in der Entwicklungszusammenarbeit tätig. Der ausgebildete Sekundarlehrer unterrichtete viele Jahre an verschiedenen Schulen im In- und Ausland, bevor er an der Universität Zürich ein Zweitstudium in Psychologie absolvierte, dissertierte, als Lehrberater und Schulpsychologe arbeitete und sich schliesslich der Entwicklungszusammenarbeit und Hochschuldidaktik zuwandte.
