Die Autorin hat ihren Lebensmittelpunkt in Dresden, Berlin und Port Barton auf Palawan, Philippinen und ist gemeinsam mit ihrem Mann jedes Jahr zwischen November und März auf den Philippinen und von April bis Oktober in Deutschland. Auf den Philippinen unterstützen sie ein Gästeresort und in Deutschland sind beide als Trainer und Coach tätig.
