About the author
Leonardo Boff, Dr. phil., Dr. theol., geboren 1938 in Concórdia/Brasilien, war Professor für Systematische Theologie in Petrópolis und Professor für Ethik und Religion in Rio de Janeiro. Er ist einer der Gründungsväter der lateinamerikanischen Befreiungstheologie. 2001 erhielt er den "Alternativen Nobelpreis".
