About the author
Karin Dörnhofer-Neumann ist 1960 in München geboren und in einer hessischen Kleinstadt aufgewachsen. Schon während ihrer Schulzeit war sie berüchtigt für ihre fantasievollen Aufsätze, hat aber später zunächst ein Sachbuch mit dem Titel "Sekretariat" veröffentlicht. Ihre wahre Liebe gehört jedoch dem Abenteuerroman. Ihre Lieblingsautoren waren Erich Kästner und Enid Blyton.
