About the author
Eckhard Weise, geboren 1949 in Rendsburg, hat an den Universitäten Göteborg und Westberlin Nordistik studiert, an der Freien Universität Berlin zudem Germanistik, Politik und Psychologie. Nach einem langen Berufsleben als Lehrer lebt und arbeitet er heute als Autor und Dozent in Bad Hersfeld. Veröffentlichungen von Lyrik, Kurzprosa, Essays zu Literatur und Film, Monografien zu Sergej M. Eisenstein, Ingmar Bergman, Orson Welles. 2004 erhielt er ein Stipendium im Zentrum für Schriftsteller und Übersetzer auf Gotland und 2010 im Zentrum für Schriftsteller und Übersetzer auf Rhodos.
