About the author
Der Autor Gerhard Somieski wurde 1945 geboren und studierte an der TU München Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik. Von 1971 bis 2005 arbeitete er an unterschiedlichen Forschungsvorhaben der Raketentechnik, Luftfahrt und an Softwareprojekten. Seine Hobbys sind u.a. Fotografie, Sport, Bücher und Malerei. Er ist verheiratet und hat zwei Kinder und fünf Enkelkinder.
