About the author
J. Hilmar Vollmuth Prof. Dr. J. Hilmar Vollmuth ist Diplom-Kaufmann, MBA, Fahhochschullehrer und Unternehmensberater, Jahrgang 1936. Er studierte Betriebswirtschaftslehre in Würzburg und München (Diplom-Kaufmann) und an der Columbia Universität in New York (Master of Business Administration). Seit 1970 ist er freiberuflicher Unternehmensberater. Von 1975 bis 2001 war er Professor für Betriebswirtschaftslehre, Finanz- und Rechnungswesen sowie Controlling an der Fachhochschule Fulda. Er war für die Entwicklung und Einführung des Controllings in kleineren und mittleren Unternehmen zuständig und führte externe und innerbetriebliche Seminare für Führungskräfte durch.
