About the author
Sybella Jersch wurde 1959 als Jüngstes von drei Mädchen in einem Dorf im Schwarzwald geboren. 2017 erkrankte sie an einer schweren Posttraumatischen Belastungsstörung. In einer psychiatrischen Klinik war als Therapie das Backen eine sehr große Hilfe. 2020 veröffentlichte sie ihr erstes Buch mit dem Titel "Backen mit Leidenschaft". Nach diesem Erfolg wollte sie anderen Menschen an ihrem Kampf gegen die Krankheit teilhaben lassen. In diesem Buch beschreibt sie, wie sie als Kind mit fünf Jahren sexuell missbraucht wurde und dadurch eine Art Mauer in ihrem Kopf entstand. Eine Mauer, hinter der all das Schlimme zugemauert wurde, damit sie ein normales Leben führen konnte. Über fünfzig Jahre hielt diese Mauer stand, bis sie 2017 zu bröckeln begann und ihr Kampf gegen das Vergessene begann.
