Die Autorin wurde in Mannheim geboren und wuchs dort mit ihrem sieben Jahre älteren Bruder auf. Schon in jungen Jahren schrieb sie Gedichte für Freunde und Bekannte. Als Gastronomin schrieb sie ihre eigenen Büttenreden und trat erfolgreich für ihren Verein auf.
