Jahrhundert pflegten die Studenten ihren eigenen Jargon und die Wandervogelbewegung lieferte den Nazis manches Lieblingswort. Matthias Heine zeigt, dass Jugendliche schon immer eigene Gruppensprachen nutzten - nach innen als Erkennungszeichen, nach außen als Abgrenzung und natürlich auch ganz einfach zum Spaß. Dazu zieht er Quellen wie Goethes Studentenwörtersammlung, Kästners "Emil und die Detektive" oder die deutschen Synchronisationen der Beatles-Filme heran.
About the author
Matthias Heine, 1961 geboren, arbeitet als Journalist in Berlin. Von 1992 an hat er u. a. für "Die Welt", "Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung", "taz", "Cicero", "Neon" und "Theater heute" geschrieben und Radiobeiträge für den NDR und den SFB/RBB produziert. Seit 2010 ist er Kulturredakteur der "Welt". Zuletzt erschienen von ihm "Verbrannte Wörter" (2019), "Das ABC der Menschheit" (2020) und "Eingewanderte Wörter" (2020).
