Die Autorin Gabriela Trippner ist verheiratet und hat eine Tochter und zwei Enkelkinder. Ihr Geburtsort ist München. Seit ihrer Kindheit ist sie den Pferden verbunden und mit 23 Jahren hatte sie ihr erstes eigenes Pferd. Sie lebt mit ihrem Mann und ihren Pferden auf einem Bauernhof. Die Tiere lehrten sie Demut und Reflektion.
