Matthias Kehle, geb. 1967, Studium der Germanistik und Soziologie, lebt als freier Schriftsteller und Journalist in Karlsruhe. Er ist Autor zahlreicher Gedicht- und Erzählbände sowie erfolgreicher Sachbücher. Für seine in mehrere Sprachen übersetzte Lyrik erhielt er u. a. das "Literaturstipendium des Landes Baden-Württemberg", den "Thaddäus-Troll-Preis" sowie den "Schwäbischen Literaturpreis".
