Erwin Sittig wurde 1953 in Güstrow geboren. Sein Studium an der TU Dresden schloss er 1977 als Dipl.-Ing. für Informationstechnik ab. Heute lebt der Schriftsteller mit seiner Frau in Ludwigsfelde.
