Er ersetzt die bisherige Ausgabe "Hörerziehung, Musiklehre und Komposition" (BE 3581). Neben dem Instrumentalunterricht wird den Lernenden die Teilnahme an Theorie- und Orchesterkursen empfohlen, die Ausgestaltung des Angebots ist den Musikschulen überlassen.
