Eleanor Siegl Kofler: geboren in Šumperk (deutsch Mährisch Schönberg) im heutigen Tschechien, nach 1945 Kindheit und Jugend in Österreich, Argentinien und den Vereinigten Staaten. Abschluss an der High School of Art and Design in New York. Später Familie und Lebensmittelpunkt in Bruneck, wo sie bis heute lebt.
