About the author
Keith Pilbeam Keith Pilbeam promovierte am Europa Institut in Florenz zur theoretischen Modellierung von Wechselkursen. Er war anschließend bei NatWest Bank und der Royal Bank of Scotland tätig. Seit 1989 ist er als Professor für Internationale Finanzmärkte an der City University London tätig. Seine Forschungsschwerpunkte liegen in Analyse von Wechselkursen und Finanzmärkten. Er ist Autor der Lehrbücher International Finance sowie Finance and Financial Markets. Joscha Beckmann Joscha Beckmann schloss sein Studium der Volkswirtschaftslehre und Wirtschaftspädagogik jeweils mit dem Diplom an der Georg-August Universität Göttingen ab. Es folgte eine Promotion am Lehrstuhl für Makroökonomik an der Universität Duisburg-Essen bei Ansgar Belke die er im Jahr 2011 abschloss. Aktuell ist er als Vertretungsprofessor für Internationale Wirtschaftsbeziehungen an der Universität Bochum sowie am Institut für Weltwirtschaft tätig. Seine Forschungsschwerpunkte liegen im Bereich der empirischen Modellierung von Wechselkursdynamiken und Finanzmärkten im Allgemeinen sowie der Analyse geldpolitischer Schocks.
