About the author
(*1939) war Professor für politische Soziologie in Berlin, anschliessend am Institut für Geschlechter- und Generationenforschung an der Universität Bremen. Er erhielt den Deutschen Sachbuchpreis des Deutschen Bibliotheksverbands und ist Autor mehrerer Bestseller, zuletzt Was vom Manne übrigblieb. Das missachtete Geschlecht (2012).
