Beschreibung:
Complete and unabridged. An English captain sails north with a crew who do not know his name or his purpose, and pushes for the pole through the ice. One of the first of Verne's Extraordinary Voyages; his publisher made him cut the original ending, in which Hatteras walks into the polar volcano, and softened it into madness instead. Its 224 original illustrations have been carefully restored and coloured for this edition.
