Complete and unabridged. A bear of very little brain lives in a wood with a piglet, a gloomy donkey and a boy called Christopher Robin: a hunt for a Woozle, a birthday present that is a burst balloon and an empty pot, and a flood survived in an upturned umbrella. A. A. Milne wrote the stories for his son and never escaped them; he had been a playwright and an assistant editor of Punch. Every scene turns on somebody being kind about somebody else's mistake. Its 88 original illustrations have been carefully restored and coloured for this edition.
