Complete and unabridged, with 58 full-page plates by Johan Christian Dahl, Giovanni Paolo Panini and Caspar David Friedrich. The short fiction Mary Shelley published in the annuals and magazines over twenty years and never collected - a transformation, a man who drank an elixir of immortality, the evil eye, and the invisible girl. Gathered for the first time in 1891. This edition adds a gallery of 58 plates, among them paintings by Caspar David Friedrich, Joseph Roos and Giovanni Paolo Panini, alongside one restored and coloured illustration.
