Complete and unabridged, with 53 full-page plates by Jean-Baptiste Camille Corot, Walter Sickert and Théophile Steinlen. A politician's blackmail file, a decanter stopper with a hollow in it, and Lupin racing a guillotine. Leblanc built the book on the Panama scandal that had shaken the French republic, and the deadline in it is a real one. This edition adds 53 plates of painting by Jean Béraud, Claude Monet, Théophile Steinlen and others, alongside 7 restored and coloured in-text illustrations.
